Master Craftsmanship
Antique Persian and Oriental rugs are masterpieces of human history. When structural damage, moth deterioration, or severe staining occurs, they require the hands of a master artisan. We do not patch; we rebuild the foundation and recreate the knotting perfectly.
Whether dealing with dry rot, moth damage, or severe physical tearing, our artisans recreate the cotton or wool warp and weft foundation before matching the original vegetable dyes and re-tying every missing knot by hand.
Pet enzymes, wine, and water damage can destroy natural fibers and cause dye migration. Our chemical-free extraction process neutralizes enzymes at the fiber level, restoring the original vibrance without harsh bleaching.
The fringe is the skeleton of your rug. When it unravels, the entire piece is at risk of unknotting. We meticulously secure the sides (serging) and re-wrap or re-weave the fringe to halt further deterioration.

Heritage is rare. Our story began in the San Francisco rug wholesale market in 1989. By 2001, we transitioned to retail, bringing our deep knowledge of the loom directly to homeowners. In 2016, Gaurav (Max) Sharma founded Zoom Rugs to combine this 37-year family legacy with modern, white-glove logistics.
