Through a specialized wet-blocking and tension-drying process, we were able to completely re-stretch the foundation, ensuring the rug lays perfectly flat while brightening the cream and blue design.

Rugs with raised, light-colored patterns on dark backgrounds quickly lose their contrast as the lighter raised fibers absorb surface dirt. In the 'before' image, the dingy, brownish cast over the grey background muted the entire room. After purification, the grey base was restored to its true, cool tone, allowing the raised cream floral motifs to pop brilliantly and breathe new life into the dining space.
