Zoom Rugs Services

Effective Date: January 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all rug cleaning, rug repair, restoration, rug pad purchases, pickup/delivery services, and all estimates, invoices, and online bookings with Zoom Rugs Services. A link to this Terms & Conditions page is included on all invoices so customers can review the full policy at any time. This serves as confirmation that customers have been informed of our policies in advance, and may be used as supporting documentation in the event of any dispute or chargeback case.


1. Digital Authorization

By providing your name, phone number, email address, service address, or approving an estimate or invoice electronically, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Your electronic acceptance constitutes your authorization to perform the requested services.


2. Handmade Rug Cleaning Disclaimer

Many handmade, antique, vintage, silk, viscose, wool, hand-tufted, tribal, Persian, Oriental, Turkish, Chinese, and specialty rugs naturally age over time. Professional cleaning may reveal pre-existing conditions that were hidden by dirt or wear.

Zoom Rugs Services is not responsible for:

Professional cleaning cannot restore structural damage that existed before the cleaning process.


3. Rug Repair Disclaimer

All repair work is performed using traditional techniques and matching materials whenever possible.

Because many antique and handmade rugs use discontinued dyes, hand-spun wool, or aged materials, exact color, texture, or weave matching cannot always be guaranteed.

Repair estimates are based on visible damage. Additional hidden damage discovered during the repair process may require additional work and approval.


4. Service Fee (14.5%)

A 14.5% Service Fee is applied to qualifying services.

5. Pickup & Delivery Fee

For rugs under 80 square feet, a $49.99 Pickup & Delivery Fee may apply depending on location and service requirements.

Larger rugs or qualifying orders may receive complimentary pickup and delivery at Zoom Rugs’ discretion.


6. Last-Minute Cancellation Policy

Appointments reserve a dedicated pickup window and vehicle.

Appointments canceled without sufficient notice, or when our team arrives and the service cannot be completed, may incur a $79.99 Last-Minute Cancellation Fee.

7. No Refund Policy

Because rug cleaning, repair, restoration, odor treatment, stain removal, color correction, and similar services are labor-intensive and performed specifically for each rug: All sales are final.

8. Satisfaction Commitment

Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us.

If a customer has a legitimate concern regarding our workmanship, Zoom Rugs may, at its discretion:

9. Chargeback Policy

By approving your invoice and authorizing payment, you agree to contact Zoom Rugs Services first regarding any concerns before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution.

If a chargeback is filed without first allowing us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, and the chargeback is determined to be invalid or is resolved in our favor, the customer agrees to be responsible for:


10. Payment Terms

Zoom Rugs Services accepts payment via cash, check, Zelle, major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other approved digital payment methods as indicated on the invoice.

A 4.25% processing fee will be applied to all credit and debit card payments. There is no fee for payments made by cash, check, or Zelle.

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed to in writing in advance.

For certain services, including large orders or repair work, a deposit may be required prior to the start of work. Any remaining balance must be paid in full before the rug is returned or released to the customer.

Invoices not paid within 7 days of completion may be considered past due. Past due balances may incur a late fee of up to 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by law), applied to the outstanding balance.

Zoom Rugs Services reserves the right to withhold delivery or release of rugs until full payment is received. Continued non-payment may result in additional collection efforts, including referral to a collections agency or legal action, where permitted by law. The customer agrees to be responsible for any reasonable costs associated with collection, including administrative fees, collection agency fees, and legal expenses.


11. Storage

We provide 15 days of free storage after the cleaning is completed. After this period, a storage fee of $7.50 per rug per day will apply.

If the invoice value exceeds $3,000, we provide one month of free storage. If the invoice value exceeds $6,000, we provide one and a half months of free storage at no additional cost.

Completed rugs not picked up within the applicable free storage period may be subject to storage charges unless prior arrangements have been made.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zoom Rugs Services’ total liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising out of or related to the services provided shall be limited to the lesser of: (a) the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or (b) $1,000.

In the event of loss or damage to a rug while in our care, Zoom Rugs Services may, at its discretion, either replace the rug with a similar design and quality or provide a refund based on the rug’s actual value as determined by our wholesale pricing standards. Customers acknowledge that rug values are based on our internal cost and sourcing structure, not retail or purchase price paid elsewhere.

Zoom Rugs Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of value, loss of profits, or emotional distress, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.


13. Force Majeure

Zoom Rugs Services is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, supply shortages, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen events.


14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
